At 9:00 a.m., Zhuzhou Advanced Hard Material Testing Center was unveiled. Relying on the analysis and testing center of Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group Co., Ltd., the center is established as the Zhuzhou Advanced Cemented Carbide Testing Center, which is an analysis and testing institution subordinate to the National Key Laboratory of Cemented Carbide and serves the cemented carbide and refractory metal industry. After more than 60 years of construction and production practice, the sub-test center has established the first complete set of cemented carbide analysis and inspection methods in China. The analysis and detection capability has developed from pure tungsten cobalt and tungsten cobalt titanium cemented carbide to tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, niobium and other rare metals and all products of the entire industrial chain, and extended to the field of non-ferrous metals and new energy materials.
Deng Weimin pointed out that after a period of development, the advanced cemented carbide industry chain has become increasingly influential and has achieved fruitful innovation results, but there are also problems and deficiencies such as the low proportion of high-end products and the slow industrial upgrading.
